The participant will be any personnel responsible for the operation and or maintenance of the ABB MP200/AC450 Controller.

The student should have a fair understanding of the basics of control systems, Instrumentation and process control.
Description

This course will teach all attendees the basics of the ABB Control systems. It will also cover topics on Database Management- Dimensioning, creation and modification of various Databases in the controller. It will also cover details on PC Programs Management- Dimensioning , Insertion, Connection of various PC Programs
Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
> Perform certain hardware checks on MP200/AC450 controllers
> Communicate with Advant 100 Engineering Station
> Navigate through the basics of Advant 100 Engineering Station.
> Database Management
> Dimension, creation and modification of several Database elements.
> PC Program Management
> Dimension, Insert, Connect and execute the PC Programs
> Communication - MB 300
> Communication between PC Programs and between Controllers.
> Finally, maintain the control upto a basic level with certain tips on troubleshooting.
