Main Topics • Understand the different types of Windows environments Process Portal uses. • Install Windows 2003 and Windows XP in a Workgroup or Active Directory Domain. • Configure the Windows 2003 and Windows XP environments for Process Portal applications • Work with the registry • Create and manage users and groups • Secure access to network resources and services • Maintain a Windows server using key administration tools • Troubleshoot applications and server services • Understand the differences between Windows 2003 and Windows XP • Administrate Core Networking Services (DHCP, DNS, WINS) • Install, configure, and administrate MS SQL 2000 Server • Configure and manage MS SQL 2000 replication • Perform troubleshooting and use the proper Recovery Options provided in Windows to reestablish functionality
