Course Duration The duration of this course is 5 days. Course Description This is a classroom course. The course goal is to teach students to start-up, adjust, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the ACS 600 MultiDrive Systems. Student Profile Electricians, technicians, and engineers install & service ACS 600 MultiDrive systems. Prerequisites and Recommendations Basic knowledge of electronics and experience in using PCs in the Windows environment is required to enrol in this course. Participants Max. 8 Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: • Perform basic start-up operations of ACS 600 MultiDrive systems. • Tune ACS 600 MultiDrive frequency converters • Make backups and restore ACS 600 MultiDrive system application programs • Use the ACS 600 MultiDrive tool programs Main Topics Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: ? Component and board functions ? Direct Torque Control (DTC) Principal. ? Using & Interpreting circuit diagrams & other system documents. ? Locating & identifying terminals, boards & other components. ? Inverter software functions. ? ACS 600 MultiDrive tool programs. ? Frequency converter start-up & control. ? Supply section operations & measurements. ? Optional equipment overview. ? Fault tracing methods.
