ACS6000c Drive Operation and Maintenance
Description The ACS6000c or also commonly called Cycloconverter is a thyristor based medium voltage AC Drive for Synchronous motors. The Cycloconverter is an AC/AC frequency converter with no inner circuit using AMC technology control platform. Available in several configurations, the Cycloconverter covers a large rang of applications and power capabilities. Its simple power parts design allows it to have a high momentary overloads combined with a high reliability. The ACS6000c is mainly used in Marine propulsion systems and Metals application as well as in the mining industry.
Objectives The participant will learn how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot the ACS6000c drive system. Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to understand the drive system topology, to locate and replace faulty hardware components and to carry out preventive maintenance. The trainee will also learn how to use the available programming and troubleshooting tools, and train with practical exercises.
