A Word about the “superscript” IT
When adding text to folders or using Industrial IT terminology in other communications materials, be sure to observe the guidelines for proper treatment of the “superscript” IT. Consistency of this treatment is an important element of various ABB trademark filings and of overall Industrial IT imaging. General guidelines for the superscript are as follows:
- The first word – “Industrial” or “Suitename” – should always be in the same font, weight, size and color, and sit on the same baseline as the body text in which it appears
- The second part – “IT” – should be approximately 90 percent of the type size of the first word, and raised above the baseline (superscript) by approximately 50 percent
- Do not insert a space between the two parts
