It is important to choose products that reflect the core values of ABB, as well as provide something of intrinsic value to customers. For that reason, quality products of an appropriate nature should be combined with professional reproduction methods to ensure that all merchandise enhances the perceived value of the ABB brand. For that reason, inexpensive, trite items should be avoided.
When reproducing the ABB logo on merchandising items of any description, it should appear in ABB Red and in strict accordance with the basic elements. In non-printing applications where a reproduction process or materials precludes the use of ABB Red (such as stamping our logo in metal, or etching in glass), it is permissible to use the color of the physical material. This exception only applies in instances when ABB Red cannot be used, the exception may not be used as an alternative when ABB red, black or white is available.
When embroidering shirts, select a red as close to the ABB logo as possible, or black or white thread. It is not permissible to reproduce the ABB logo in any other color to match a certain fabric (blue logos on a blue shirt, for example).
