Product documentation such as manuals, descriptions or test reports are important touch points with our customers. They need to reflect the same high quality as our products.
A customer may have several ABB products supplied from different factories. To strengthen the 'one company' approach it is important that the product documentation handed over to customer have the same Look & Feel regardless of origin. This will enhance the perceived quality and reinforce the ABB brand.
The templates are provided in both MS Word and Adobe InDesign versions and can be downloaded via the right hand menu. The templates and style-guideline are mandatory. If you have questions about templates or the style-guideline, please contact Roar Karlsen.
The templates and style guide is a sub-project with the EDP project, Electronic Documentation Process. The EDP provide a solution to deliver the product documentation of all PP products via web interface to the customer. All deliveries will be stored in a common repository where customer later can log in to view their own portfolio and download their documentation. The EDP process aim to speed up the delivery of documentation and will also reduce the need of handing over paper to the customer.
