The protective field

The logo is a symbol, not a word.

To preserve the integrity of the design, and for legal requirements, it must stand alone. Therefore, it cannot be combined with text or any other elements.

To ensure that the logo stands alone, a space equal to half the height of the quadrant initial (H) has been defined to protect the area around it.

This is called the protective field - and is the minimum allowed space between the text, design elements, page edges and the logo.

Nothing may be placed in the protective field - no stripes, symbols, patterns, lettering, or promotional devices of any kind.
