2009-10-16: Two teams participating in Solar Decathlon 2009, Team Germany and Team Spain, are being sponsored respectively by ABB in Germany and Spain, demonstrating ABB innovation in both renewable power generation and the building systems business.
2009-10-14: After four weeks at sea, a solar house built by students of the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany with help from ABB has been reassembled in the US capital and is ready to compete against other renewable energy entries in the Solar Decathlon. A winner will be announced on October 17.
