    The annual report 1999 contains in summarized form the annual financial statements of Asea Brown Boveri AG, Mannheim, and the summarized joint management report of Asea Brown Boveri AG and the Group. The financial statements of ABB AG, as provided with an unconditional audit certificate by Industrie-Treuhand-GmbH, Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Mannheim, are published in the "Bundesanzeiger" (Federal Official Gazette) and filed at the Commercial Register of Mannheim District Court.

    The financial statements will be forwarded free of charge on request by ABB AG, FAR, P.O. Box 100164, D-68001 Mannheim.
