We offer the following high power tests:
- Short-circuit making and breaking capacity tests up to 70 kA and up to 36 kV (single-phase and three-phase )
- Load current switching tests: capacitive, inductive, ohmic, inductive-ohmic
- Peak withstand current tests up to 250 kA
- Short-time withstand current tests up to 70 kA - 3s resp. 100 kA - 1s
- Internal arc fault tests up to 50 kA - 1s

The ABB Laboratories are
accredited by the German Accreditation Authority (DATech) as ABB Calor Emag as well as PEHLA testing laboratories, Ratingen. The accreditation ensures that all tests are fully independent.
Near the laboratories we have a workshop with good machinery and fully-fledged staff for repairs, modifications or prototype assembly.
In addition, a completely closed assembly area is available. Here you can assemble the equipment to be tested, undertake all checks and/or make necessary modifications.
