ABB cares about the reliability and availability of the HVDC stations delivered.

The HVDC Customer Support Department carries the responsibility to maintain reliability and availability (R/A) records for all ABB HVDC systems in service. The primary objective behind this effort is to provide the customer with a standardized method for evaluating the overall performance of their HVDC link, and to help in identifying specific areas where improvement(s) may be viable.
