Course Duration: The duration is 5 days. Course Type: This is an instructor led course with interactive classroom discussions and associated lab exercises.Approximately 50% of the course is hands-on lab activities. Course Goal: The goal of this course is to learn the basic configuration of the Extended Automation System 800xA. Student Profile: This training is targeted to System 800xA users who need to learn the fundamentals in order to form a foundation for maintenance and administration skills. If more comprehensive engineering skills are needed, it is recommended to consider T315 instead. Note: There is some overlap in T314 with the material of T308 Hardware and Troubleshooting. Since both courses are intended not to requir prerequisite knowledge of 800xA, there is introductory material in both courses that is very similar. Prerequisites and Recommendations: Students shall know the fundamentals of working with Control Systems and have basic knowledge of Windows 2000.
