ARC ranks ABB No. 1 in Process Automation

COLUMBUS, Ohio - ABB has been recognized as the No. 1 process automation supplier in the world by industry analyst ARC. In its recently released Process Automation Systems (PAS) Worldwide Outlook, ARC credits ABB as having the best total-solutions capability – beating out Siemens, GE-Honeywell, Invensys and Emerson.

In that report, ARC points out that the ability to provide total solutions should be a primary factor for any user choosing a manufacturing system partner. ARC supports ABB’s IndustrialIT direction.
With regard to how we (ARC) are positioning ‘Industrial IT’ with our clients,” said Dave Woll, VP Enterprise Integration, ARC, “on several occasions … we have specifically said that, in the context of our vision of what a PAS should be, ABB's ‘Industrial IT’ vision is the closest.”
