Background	Antamina is a greenfield project built at an altitude of 4’800 metres a.s.a.l. in the Andes. The total investment is $2.2billion. With full production, Antamina is the world’s 7th largest copper producer, the 3rd largest zinc producer and the largest combined Cu Zn producer.

Scope of ABB	Design, manufacture, delivery to site, erection supervision, testing and commissioning of: 1-Gearless Mill Drive for the SAG mill (38´, 1000t/h). Drive rating 20.1MW, 10rpm. 3-Gearless Mill Drives for the ball mills (24´,1000t/h ). Drive rating 11.2MW, 13rpm High Voltage Switchgear Medium Voltage Switchgear Low Voltage Switchgear Transformers Low Voltage Drives Process Control System
