Capacity	Increase annual production capacity of the smelter and refinery from 125'000 to 220'000 tpy
Background	The process control and optimization system controls and supervises all the processes from the reception of raw material through the refining, casting and electrolysis processes to shipment of finished product.
Scope of ABB	Design, manufacture, delivery to site, erection supervision, testing and commissioning of: Process Control System for approximately 12'000 I/O's and consisting of 11 controllers, 15 operator stations, 3 information management stations as well as the management information system
