Background	The smelter will be built near the Anguran zinc and lead mine in the northwest province of Zanjan. The plant will be built on a turnkey basis in coopereration with Kahanroba (Iran), Outokumpu Technology ( Finland) and TAIM (Spain)
Process	Outokumpu Direct Leaching Technology
Scope of ABB	Design, manufacture, delivery to site, erection supervision, testing and commissioning of: 230kV Substation 33kV and 6.6 kV Distibution Transformer Rectifiers Induction Furnaces LV distribution and MCC's Motors and Drives Process Control System Instrumentation Cabling, Lighting, Grounding, etc
