“ABB Automation & Power World offers a forum at which customers can learn practical methods to improve their efficiency, reliability, productivity and energy usage at one unique event,” explains Rick Hepperla, event chairman and head of Automation Products, North America. “As the world’s largest single supplier of power and automation solutions, we look forward to collaborating with our customers and sharing knowledge that will help them to successfully meet and exceed their immediate and long-term business objectives.”

The event will showcase the entire ABB portfolio and features 500 hours of training and 72,000 square feet of exhibits designed to help customers be more competitive in the slowing economy. A full-conference pass costs $300 per day or $800 for all three days. No-cost technical training and exhibit only passes are also available. New in 2009, the ABB University will offer one-day courses at a discount over normal ABB University course fees. The cost of a course includes free admittance to the ABB Automation & Power World exhibit hall, meals, and evening event.
