ABB Crane Systems at TOC 2010 Europe in Valencia

The visitors had the opportunity to see ABB Crane Systems latest applications in Crane Control and Crane Automation and how to increase productivity and increase profits through utilization of ABB Crane Control and Automation Systems.

The Innovation Forum added more value at TOC Europe 2010 since exhibition and conference attendees and visitors attended the innovation forum for free.
Mr. Paul Mair, Account Manager ABB Crane Systems, made a presentation on the topic Crane productivity enhancements for container cranes.

In the conference session Mr. Uno Bryfors, Vice President and Head of ABB Crane Systems, presented key features of the brand new automated TTI terminal in Algeciras, which received its first commercial vessel at the beginning of May 2010.
Mr. Bryfors also shared his views on where robotic technology will go from here and discussion of the first terminal with end-loaded ASCs in Asia (BNCT Busan 2-3 terminal) was also included.
Finally, the session ended with a discussion how ABB sees the market trajectory and business case for further adoption of automation at a wider mix of terminal types in the future.
