ABB Crane Systems exhibited at TOC 2008 Americas, The Shipping, Ports and Terminals Event for the Americas.
Exhibition was 18-20 November 2008, Long Beach Convention Centre, California, USA.
TOC Americas took place for the first time on the US West Coast, in the heart of North America’s largest container handling complex.
The conference reflected on the many new forces converging on the planning and operation of marine contanier terminals and transport chains in North America and Latin America and of course the impact of increased fuel prices and environmental pressures.
Key conference sessions covered: the business and economic outlook; labor; the environment; the interface between marine terminals, trucking and rail; marine terminal productivity, sustainability and automation; regional port capacity, gateway diversification and trade lane strategies; and financing of critical port and transport infrastructure.
