As essential parts of every field instrumentation for automation of technical processes, pressure and differential pressure transmitters are found in almost all industrial plants and are definitely among the most important measuring applications. Previously this has led to an ever-increasing demand for these products.
The pressure transmitter product line 2600T is the continuation of the transmitter series 600T and 2000T. It offers the biggest choice of instruments for optimal application conformance and with it simultaneously the best price-service ratio.
This series of applied sensors guarantees higher measurement accuracy, stability and higher dynamics in transmission behaviour.
Applying multi-sensor technology is a groundbreaking innovation in the area of differential pressure measurement. An additional absolute pressure sensor is implemented next to the differential pressure sensor, which measures the process pressure on the positive side of the measurement cell. This guarantees increased measurement accuracy and at the same time also delivers information about the process pressure in measurement quality to the differential pressure.
A special electronic variation can, except for differential pressure and process pressure, also measure the process temperature by means of an external sensor. Using instruments of this type, it is therefore possible to deliver what is up to now unknown comprehensive process information and therefore to carry out a calculation with the three measured entry values, for example the real mass pressure flow at the flow measurement following the differential pressure process.
Depending on the plant-specific requirements, measurement accuracy of 0.04%, 0.075% can be selected.
With differential pressure measurement range of 0.5 mbar to 100 bar with nominal pressure of up to 400bar, all applications in the modern plant in the process industry can be covered. Of course all measurement ranges are up to full nominal pressure unilaterally high-overloadable.
Over pressure – in the case of absolute pressure measurements from 2 mbar to 600bar can be carried out, where the small measurement ranges are immediately extremely highly overloadable.
For the instrumentation of PLT-safety equipment, instruments with IEC 61508 certification are available.
Comprehensive accessories such as fully welded pressure sensor for especially critical measuring materials, check valves, flow measuring sections for the smallest flows and fastening angle enable the mechanical adaption for all plant requirements.
The modular design with automatic configuration after electronic exchange allows the transmitter to fit in with most different requirements regarding output and communication:

The automatic configuration comprises of all transmitter data, which is also configured user-specifically. This way, after electronic exchange, the transmitter is without superfluous interferences, such as the calibration, immediately serviceable again with the present configuration.

- Operation is also possible with the help of standard hand-held terminals
