ABB will be among more than 200 companies showcasing their wind power products and services at the forthcoming BWEA31 annual conference and exhibition that takes place at the ACC Liverpool, a landmark regeneration project on the outstanding Mersey River Waterfront site next to the famous grade one listed Albert Dock. The three day event that combines a technical conference with an exhibition takes place from 20th - 22nd October.
With years of experience and, as the world's largest supplier of electrical products and services to wind farm operators, installers and manufacturers, we would like to encourage visitors to meet with our technical experts who will be available on the ABB stand, located in Hall 2 of the ACC, Liverpool.

The new compact slim-line 36 KV SafePlus Vacuum Circuit Breaker panel, among the smallest available on the market today, with a footprint of less that 500 mm the new SafePlus 36 kV is an ideal solution for applications where space is restricted, such as in wind turbines.
Also available on the stand will be the REF 615, recently launched, and from ABB's Relion family of Protection and Control products that support a range of communications protocols including IEC 61850 and with GOOSE messaging.
ABB's STATCOM [STATic COMpensator] solution on display will show how we are playing a key role in helping wind farms achieve Grid Code compliance.
And, experts from ABB will be able to discuss with visitors how our PASS M0 Plug and Switch System has revolutionised substation design. This innovative solution for distribution substations can be installed in less than a day and is virtually maintenance free.
