ABB to showcase extensive low voltage contractor products range at ELEX 2005

2005-05-19 - ABB Limited (stand L6) will be presenting its extensive range of electrical contractor products at ELEX 2005 on the 16th & 17th June 2005 at the G-Mex Centre, Manchester.

ABB’s stand will include a wide selection of products from its EPack low voltage range. Equipment on display will include ABB’s Housemaster consumer unit, which features a sliding access door that opens and closes within the unit itself, requiring less space for installation than conventional flap door designs and minimising the risk of accidental breakage. Available with factory fitted switch disconnectors and/or RCDs, the Housemaster is designed for use with single pole MCBs with ratings from 6A to 63A. A space saving RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overload) module is also available for applications where earth leakage protection is required on individual units.

Also present will be ABB’s Alpha BS range of wiring accessories, which includes a selection of stylish and aesthetically appealing switches, socket outlets, communication and control devices aimed at the architectural and interior design markets.

ABB’s EPack range is specifically targeted at small and medium electrical contractors. Many of the Epack products are available with a 24-hour delivery pledge which ensures that, in the unlikely event that a particular product is not immediately available from a wholesaler, it can be delivered the next day if ordered by 10 ‘o’ clock.

Run in conjunction with Professional Electrician & Installer magazine, ELEX 2005 also offers a number of free seminars on key issues affecting electrical contractors such as an update on the Part P regulations and wiring colour changes.

The exhibition will be a ‘hands-on’ event where electricians can see first hand all the latest electrical products from leading manufacturers and will also provide an ideal opportunity for delegates to improve their understanding of the issues affecting the electrical contracting industry.
