2008-05-09 - AC500 is recognized as the fastest, most flexible, industrial automation platform available. This platform consists of an array of separate components, which are easily combined to meet small equipment control to plant-wide application requirements. The system may begin as a small localized control but it can be easily expanded any time extra communication and control is required. The communication modules can communicate in all the popular protocols, at the same time, making this system easy to integrate with a wide assortment of equipment and legacy PLC systems. . . . The Solution for your automation requirements
Different CPU performance classes can be selected to meet todays performance requirements and easily exchange with more powerful CPU classes when the application requirements expand. Continuous programming, compliant with IEC61131-3 for the entire platform and planned further features will use a single common engineering software tool. This eliminates the high cost of software re-licensing fees common with other systems. An SD slot is included to allow firmware upgrades as needed. The human machine interface software is built in eliminating the extra cost of this software.
The AC500 is flexible and expandable, suitable for todays applications and the future needs of an evolving user market. Future modules and functionality will be fast and easy to integrate into an installed system including: safety functions, open motion control, and customized function modules.
