ABB wins major order for power and desalination plant in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Turnkey cogeneration plant to provide 500 megawatts of power, 8 million gallons of water per day for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company

Zurich, Switzerland, April 2, 1998 - ABB, the international electrical engineering group, has been awarded a turnkey order to build a 500-megawatt gas-fired power and desalination plant in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
