ABB chosen for largest HVAC revamping project for ONGC offshore platform at Mumbai High

Mumbai High, India, August 26, 2002 – ABB, the global power and automation technology group, was chosen for the revamping of the complete HVAC system at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) in Mumbai High, India. The project includes the system design through commissioning on a turnkey basis.

The order comprises engineering for the system, installation, commission and hook up, post commissioning services, and on the job training for ONGC’s personnel.

ONGC chose ABB for this project because of ABB’s prior experience in revamping work on offshore platforms, competitive pricing, and ONGC’s confidence in ABB based on past projects.
