2005-05-03 - OEM products will undergo a 5% price increase effective June 1, 2005
Circuit Breaker Technology Solutions (CBTS) recognizes that it is necessary to keep up with fair and consistent pricing to our customers. CBTS is committed to supporting and growing our OEM business and we stress to our customers that we are their partner and are working to keep their costs competitive. We have tried to absorb increased costs where we can, but the rising commodity costs and unforeseen longevity of these increases have made it impossible to sustain all of the price increases.
Therefore, we must implement a price increase of 5% on OEM products.
The CBTS Aftermarket team has recently increased all legacy circuit breaker prices by 5%. This price increase will affect the legacy low and medium voltage circuit breakers sold through the OEM channel.
In addition, all current production OEM products will undergo a 5% price increase effective June 1, 2005. This includes ADVAC and AMVAC circuit breakers, as well as VersaRupter switches and accessories. Outstanding quotations are valid through May 31, 2005. Please contact your ABB representative for any changes to existing blanket agreements. The quantity based multipliers still apply to OEM orders.
