2009-01-09 - ServicePRO is a service maintenance management tool, a standard process for service delivery, a valuable offering to clients, and a differentiator for ABB Service.
ServicePRO is the beginning of a series of service tools to aid in reducing the knowledge gap that exists around the world due to personnel turnover and inexperience.
ServicePRO’s comprehensive database is used to properly maintain and extend the life of ABB equipment. It currently includes ABB best maintenance practices for ABB QCS, OCS, and Web Inspection product lines. It is a managed, standardized collection of maintenance recommendations based on ABB experience.

Planned enhancements to ServicePRO include: advanced reporting, multiple language options, integration with 3rd party CMMS, expanded libraries to include drive systems, and more.
ServicePRO modules currently in development:
PartsPRO - An interactive series of parts management programs that are created based on the site specific system configuration stored in ServicePRO. This module will update the service organization on recommended spare packages; PM kits for QCS, OCS and WIS; and, obsolescence planning with upgrade kits all unique to the specific system installed at the site.
ProcessPRO - An interactive scheduling and proposal generating tool to enable the delivery of modular optimization services either on-site or remotely. ProcessPRO fills the gap at sites with few (if any) process engineers, focusing on periodic delivery of process improvement modules. Where ServicePRO focuses on PM procedures for the ABB systems, ProcessPRO focuses on PM procedures needed for a healthy process.
AnalyzePRO - This will act as a central storage unit for all system reporting and provide fast extraction of data for enhanced troubleshooting visualization. Additional storage utilities are planned that will include tuning numbers, transitions, high speed data, and event based storage needs.
