HISTORY

Participation in international space projects has strengthened our position as a centre for infrared expertise.

Our department has gained world recognition in optical Remote Sensing instrumentation by offering R&D contract for optical spectrometers, imaging or hyperspectral imaging systems, simulation and data processing software, as well as infrared calibration systems.

Their scope is very focused and it pursues only applications close to the core ABB technologies, such as: Special spectrometer systems for aircraft, balloon and space applications. Calibration and special test equipment for infrared satellite instruments. Imaging spectrometers of all kinds. Simulation and ground segment software for spaceborne spectrometers.
