Database and Display Engineering, DE400
Network Manager provides an advanced data engineering environment. The DE400 tool combines the database creation tasks with the single line diagram creation. Substations with repetitive layouts can easily be built using templates. DE400 incorporates a standardized way of representing a wide variety of physical and abstract objects related to the operation of an electric utility. The environment uses the CIM - Common Information Model (IEC 61970) as an import/export interface. The Data Engineering also includes a graphical editing environment, which allows the user to interact with the network model via world maps and substation one-line diagrams.

Display maintenance tool, PED500
PED500 is a Windows-based picture editor for the Network Manager environment which supports the creation of all types of displays. The PED500 works together with the DE400 Data Engineering tool to deliver an easy-to-use data engineering and display building solution.
