Tracking Manager reflects the material movement through the different production areas and provides information about the current production state.
A timely and accurate image of material movements is essential for production supervision. Tracking Manager is process specific. It coordinates and controls the execution of the dispatched production tasks and summarizes the production response required by the rest of the system.
The production supervision displays of the operator's web interface distribute operating information along the production areas. It displays current order, material identities (heat, billets etc.), together with associated order data and manufacturing instructions. The start and end of movements and updates to lot, sub-lot quantities and locations are recorded as they happen. Process events are translated into useful product information.
