The Advant-Station 160ES provides comprehensive support for the entire range of engineering tasks, from the beginning of a power plant control project to the daily routine work on site. It offers the prerequisites that are necessary for optimal engineering efficiency and high-quality documentation on site.
With the AS 160ES, more than one user can simultaneously work on different areas of the same project. The PC-based client/server concept along with a common engineering database enables two types of system configuration:
- Single-user stations for small projects or service tasks
- Multi-user stations for large projects
The function charts include dynamic representation of ‘live’ signal values for testing purposes. Analog and binary signals can be simulated.
All charts and diagrams, from internal control function charts to field cabling diagrams, use the same basic data.
In addition, the Engineering Station offers a drawing function that allows users to generate connection diagrams automatically. Signal marshalling is automatic as well.
