The Advant Station 160 OS serves as the common platform for all of the operator tasks in a power plant such as operating, monitoring, reporting, analyzing and optimizing the process.
Efficient navigation among a variety of mimics, sequence-of-events displays and detail information on drives and measurements are important prerequisites for operating the plant successfully. The Advant Station AS 160 OS employs an advanced navigation scheme which makes it easy for the operator to access the information he needs for routine work; at the same time, he is assisted in taking quick action in the event of a disturbance. The station’s optimized signaling concept reflects the specific requirements of the power plant process and informs the operator about process conditions that require special attention or intervention. The alarms are listed in a sequence-of-events display. The operator opens the operation window displaying a particular disturbance by simply clicking on the event and can then take corrective action.
