Wide Area Monitoring PSGuard

The basic PSG830 platform provides wide area measurement with phasor data viewing and process-oriented navigation at a central location.

It allows the integration of GPS-synchronized phasor measurement units (PMUs) at important nodes in the power system with a system monitoring centre (SMC) for data acquisition and processing. The acquired phasor data provides dynamic information on power systems, which helps operators to initiate correct live actions in due time.

The platform allows the implementation of software packages to form wide area monitoring, protection and control solutions, like
