Managing and optimizing the entire newspaper production process
MPS Cockpit is a planning, management and monitoring system for the entire newspaper production chain from product definition to delivery across one or more printing sites. This central planning coupled with the integration with the production management systems of the subprocesses like print and mailroom mean that planning information must only be entered once and is then automatically distributed. Planning conflicts between the various resources and subprocesses are avoided. Tracking functions show the current status across the whole production process. The integration with distribution, subscriber and other commercial systems take newspaper production to a new level of automation.
