Model Manager acts as a container for various metallurgical and mathematical models, and controls their invocation, data input, and distribution of model results.
The information needed for the model calculation is received mainly from the Execution Manager, Knowledge Manager and the Tracking Manager. The generated recipe / preset is sent to the dedicated control systems using the Execution Manager dispatcher. Models are available for the following process areas: Melt Shops; Hot Strip Mills and Cold Rolling Mills.
Model Manager provides you with setup models such as: Scrap loading; Strand shutdown optimization; Mill setup calculation; Intra-pass adaptation; Steel, stainless, aluminium, copper and brass mills.
Mathematical models are available for the following: Oxygen blowing; Oxygen activity calculation; Alloying optimization; Slag calculations; Steel temperature calculation; Cost optimization; Yield optimization; Preset calculations; Pass line and Preset adaptations.
Model Manager manages: Data input and output; Model execution; Presentation of model results and Distribution of model results.
Customer's own models can be fully integrated as well as models from mechanical suppliers.
