Even after the end of production, ABB Analytical products can be operated for many years. A fully transparent and comprehensive life cycle policy ensures long-term availability of spare parts and support.
  • Comprehensive Life Cycle Policy
    The factory has a full transparent life cycle policy for all its products, divided in product support phases:
    Active - products are still in production, full support
    Classic - products are not longer sold, full support, active product replacement program
    Limited - full repair and support, upgrade if spares are restricted, migration concepts available
    Obsolete - repairs on request, restricted spare part and support availability
  • Long-term availability of spares
    ABB Analytical products are maintained for long years even if out of production. Spares parts are guaranteed for 3 years or replaced by higher level assemblies. Spare parts are maintained in a graphical data base, available on CD-ROM for direct ordering. Free CD-ROM with delivery!
  • Long-term extendability
    Whenever the customer likes to extend his analyzer with an additional sensor it will be possible! ABB analyzers of the Advance Optima Series can be extended to a maximum of four analyzers with simultaneous measuring of up to six components at any time. Changing the types of analyzer sensors is also no problem and can be managed by the field service. The flexibility of the modular design is outstanding in the market.
  • Outstanding upgradeability
    Forever Young! Clearly defined interfaces in the software architecture allow to upgrade Advance Optima analyzers since the beginning of manufacturing in 1997. All analyzer modules are still compatible with the latest system design. Software and hardware upgrades can keep the analyzers always up to the edge of technology.
