HPL Withdrawable Circuit Breaker (WCB)

The base for the design is the standard single pole operating HPL circuit breaker with a motor charged spring operating mechanism.

On the HPL WCB the primary circuits are connected with maintenance free contacts. The disconnecting function is obtained by moving the trolley from service position to disconnected position by means of a motor operated moving device, fully interlocked with the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker trolley can also be removed from the bay temporarily or replaced with another.

The complete WCB Switchgear Bay with busbars is type tested according to international standards.
