The LTB Compact circuit breaker are well suited for safe and reliable operation in all kinds of climates, from tropical heat with extreme humidity to artic cold.
Extreme cold climates
In service during extreme cold climates a special gas mixture is used and safe operation can be guaranteed down to -55 oC.
Indoor applicatons
The LTB Compact can also be placed on a low built structure for indoor use, see the image at right. When aesthetic aspects are considerably important for an urban area it is suitable to place HV apparatus inside a house because electric lines, transformer substations, and switching substations impact the face of a city.
