Micares® X1228 / X1229

Bitumen modified, soft, cold curable potting system with very low water pick-up.

This system is a bituminous two-component polyurethane potting compound with good dielectric properties.

- Mix ratio: 1: 1 (by weight)
- Mix viscosity*:2.5 Pas (25 °C)
- Mix density*:1.0 g/cm3
- Shore A*: 45 - 55
- Loss factor*: 0.025
- Dielectrical strength*: 14 - 18 kV/mm (on 2 mm plates)
- Thermal Class*: E
- Thermal conductivity*: 0.15 W/°Km
