The SHS2 apparatus consists of gas-insulated switch-disconnectors and isolators, suitable for use in medium voltage metal-enclosed switchboards. They are used in secondary distribution substations for supplying lines, transformers and ring networks. The unit is sealed for life type to complying with the IEC 60694. It is therefore free from any problems of gas tightness.
