Deadfront Padmount Switch

  • Switches and fuses are enclosed in a metal compartment for personnel safety and to prevent entrance of foliage and contaminants.
  • Fuse access doors are positively latched in the closed position and mechanically interlocked with the 200A albows preventing access until the elbows have been disconnected.
  • Fuses accessible only when the fuse access doors have been disconnected and pivoted to the open "service" position.
  • Switch position is visible through viewing windows in the component compartment
  • Switch terminals are equipped with 600A bushings and fuse terminals are equipped with 200A bushing wells with standard ANSI interface.
  • Construction meets ANSI standards C57.12.28 for padmounted equipment enclosure integrity.
