Primary Metering Units (Type PMU) three-phase outdoor metering units are designed for primary metering applications. They consist of individual current transformer (CT) and voltage transformer (VT) elements mounted on a common aluminum bracket for pole mounting installation.
The Type PMU is available in three basic combinations:
For three-phase four wire applications:
3 CTs and 3 VTs or
3 CTs and 2 VTs
For three-phase three wire applications:
2 CTs and 2 VTs
