The Motor Starter Direct MSD11-FBP is a net brunch for switching and protecting three-phase A.C. motors in one rotating direction and their supplies up to rated currents of 12 Ampere. The device is pre-assembled on a mounting plate and contains
- the ABB motor circuit breaker MS116,
- a ABB contactor from the B7 range,
- a front panel with display element and operational control and
- the field bus neutral interface.
The control signal for switching a connected motor comes via the FieldBusPlug. The FieldBusPlug type is dependent on the desired bus system:
- AS-Interface
- DeviceNet
- Modbus-RTU
- PROFIBUS DP
