Typical Applications for Wireless Automation

Due to their technical characteristics, products for wireless automation are particularly suitable for applications like:

  • Production cells and assembly lines (e.g. power train or motor assembly, production machines)
  • Robot applications and material-handing (e.g.  Palettizers)
  • Packaging machines
  • Machines for the food- and beaverage industry (e.g.  proportioning machines)

Wireless proximity switches + sensor pads: Ideally suited for factory automation cells
The technology of the wireless proximity switches and sensor pads (sensor distribution box) is optimally suitable for machines and manufacturing cells in a size of  e.g. 3m x 3m x 6 m. The individual manufacturing cells can cover however in a modular construction also larger machine volumes. For object detection inductive sensor heads from M8x1 to M30x1,5 in flush and non-flush versions are available to cover switching distances from 1,5 to 15 mm.

This is what wireless IO pads offer in addition:
Wireless IO pads (sensor actor distribution boxes) are the ideal complement for wireless proximity switches, in order to include conventional position sensors and actuators into wireless automation. In contrast to wireless proximity switches these IO pads are supplied conventionally with 24 VDC. Of course a first step into wireless automation can be made by these sensor/actuator distributors as a stand alone system also.
