The 268PR Safety-Critical gauge pressure transmitter characterized by the traditional DP Style with reference to atmosphere and remote diaphragm seal. Taylor’s “All-Welded” diaphragm seal technology helps users in optimizing performances. The Enhanced 268 is therefore the safest pressure transmitter on the market today.
Configuration is via hand held terminal or PC configuration platform. ABB gives users the opportunity of selecting among a wide range of options, such as fill fluids, wetted materials, capillary protection with the aim of allowing total flexibility, reducing costs and providing custom application designs.
268PR has been designed and manufactured according to the IEC61508/ISA S84.01 which fixes diagnostic, safety and reliability parameters.
