Model 268PS is the “Enhanced Version” of ABB 268 gauge pressure transmitter with a maximum working pressure of up to 21MPa, 3045psi.
This Safety instrument has been designed, developed and manufactured according to IEC61508/ISA S84.01 which covers the complete life cycle of the product. With TÜV SIL2 certification and applicable SIL3 (only for redundant configuration), the 268PS represents the smartest solution for Safety gauge pressure measurement in critical applications.
Configuration is via hand held terminal or PC configuration platform. ABB gives users the opportunity of selecting among a wide range of options, such as fill fluids, wetted materials, capillary protection with the aim of allowing total flexibility, reducing costs and providing custom application designs.
