PGC2000 Series Edition 2 (E2) with New Features and Expanded Capability
The
PGC2000 Series E2 sets the standards for ease of use. The
PGC2000 Series E2 expands this concept by improving quality, flexibility and serviceability while reducing capital investment and long-term operation cost. It is designed to meet current and emerging international standards (Cenelec-ATEX, NEC-NRTL, CSA). The PGC2000 Series is modular and is offered with digital temperature control. The process gas chromatograph incorporates liquid sample valve or continuous sliding plate valve, thermal conductivity, flame ionization and flame photometric detectors.
The PGC2000 Series E2 has expanded its capabilities with new added features.
- The new added detector options, a Dielectric Barrier Discharge Ionization Detector (DBDID) and Photo Ionization Detector (PID) expand measurements to include ppm and ppb levels of the following components:
• Impurities in high purity gases
• Halogenated Hydrocarbons
• Impurities in Ethylene
• Low Levels of BTX
• Arsine and Phosgene
• Ethylene Oxide
• Formaldehyde
• Ammonia
• Nitric Oxide
• Nitrogen Dioxide
• Alkenes
• Aromatics
- Redundant Ethernet Com Board Standard
• Standard Ethernet protocol direct from the analyzer controller eliminates the need for VN2300 Router in new installations.
- Digital Pressure Control is now standard on all PGC2000 Series E2 enabling more precise pressure control for better chromatography resolution and exceptional retention time stability.
- PGC2000 Series E2 Upgraded to “Division 2” by design allowing Division I certification to be achieved with a simple “Y” purge. The reduced hardware reduces the analyzer cost.
- A new mounting plate for the Liquid Sample Valve grounds the connection for the GC sample inlet/outlet to a rigid, fixed structure. This isolates excessive loads on the LSV sample chamber eliminating premature wearing of the seals and damage to the stem.
