Fine tuning
Optimal tuning of the flatness control loops is essential for achieving best possible flatness in the rolling mill. Often rolling mill conditions, product mix and rolling practice changes with time and the tuning made at the commissioning of the system is no longer the optimum.
By using newly developed tools, our experienced service engineers can tune the system to best possible performance.
Cluster optimization
One of the most important factors for the flatness performance when rolling in a cluster or Sendzimir mill is the taper of the 1:st Intermediate rolls. We have the experience, know-how and tools to simulate different types of cluster rolling mills and calculate the optimal taper grinding of the 1:st IMR.
