The DCU3200 product supplied as part of DCI System Six systems is now in the Limited phase of its life cycle where it is not actively sold. It has been superseded by other controller and I/O offerings. The most recent of these is the Harmony DCU with S800/S900 I/O product. The difference between the Harmony DCU and the DCU3200 is strictly software based. The Harmony DCU uses software at SR2.0 or later while the DCU3200 uses software at version S7R1 or earlier. Existing DCU3200 configurations can be backed up and restored onto the newer controller thereby preserving the users intellectual investment. Use of these newer controller and I/O products requires other system upgrades to the operator interface.
